KaTur Headlight Fairing Headlamp Sportster Review

Good product, comes with all small parts and mounting bracket. The packaging sucks, it looked like it went to hell and came back when I got it. I thought it was definitely broken. It took exactly one month to receive it. It was my fault I didn't realize it was shipped from China!

I am very pleased with the look of this fairing on my Sportster Superlow 1200T but cannot give it 5 stars because one of the screws that attaches to the top of the headlight is missing. But even without this screw, it can be easily attached to two points on either side of the headlight. If it came with a bolt in the bag this fairing would get an absolute 5/5 from me.

883 Installed on my iron in 2019. Installation is easy and straight forward, I overtightened the screw and the plastic broke to hold the fairing. One bolt holds the fairing at the moment, and so far it's stable at 110 mph. Yes, you read it right. Still holds up at high speed. The problem I had when I arrived and a lot of people talk about the reviews. The package is missing 1 screw. But it is still held by 1 screw. Overall I like the look, but it's cheap plastic. Looks good hides what I want. I had some issues with that. The same screw everyone said was missing, no big deal. However, the threaded inserts for two of the top three mounting holes came out during the ride. It caused a lot of vibration and noise and would have fallen had I been further from home. A bit of epoxy solved that problem. I bought a cheap phone mount on the handlebars and using a dremel I was able to mount it to the fairing mount. Now I have a good place for my phone.

I like the look. At such a low price I knew it wasn't going to be the best quality but gosh that sucks. Be very careful when tightening the screws from the fairing to the bracket as the threaded parts have come out of the plastic holding it to the fairing. This is the only thing that could be said that was a surprise to see. Also missing was the screw that everyone else was talking about. but overall a CHEAP price for a CHEAP part.
