I used this ribbon for a crafting project, and it kept fraying and falling apart while I was trying to work with it. The design is cute, but the quality is poor.

This is a good thickness and width for sewing. I make a lot of suits and it helps reinforce the edges (useful when using Velcro) and it's thick enough to use as a tie. If they are used as ties, tie or hem the end to keep it from fraying. Excellent quality.

I love making canvas bags and always use cotton twill/jute for the handles. They are durable and will not hurt your arms or shoulders. I usually use a 1" harness. This one is a little narrow, 3/4" wide. But it still works. I can wash the whole bag in the washing machine. It's a natural neutral color that goes well with many colors. He is strong and well made. You have to sew the ends together or they will unravel.
