Arrived quickly, colors were much lighter than the dark gray pictured. The gray was a very light gray. The balls were a lot smaller than expected, so read the instructions carefully. None of the lamps came with a hanging cord. The balls had strings.

Used these for my son's Wild One Party. You'll definitely need a lot of patience and time, so if you think you'll get a day together quickly, you're going to be stressed. I assemble the night before and am glad I did as every detail takes time, glad I bought a hanger for my lanterns.

TERRIBLE! Maybe it's great if you're a smart person. Not me. Paper lanterns were fine, but we didn't use pom poms as we couldn't assemble them. (Besides me, two other adults tried and it took too long.) It ended up being a waste of paper and money.

Let me first say the Chinese Lanterns were great. great color Easy to assemble. I only broke one thing, but that was my fault. Now for the pompoms. I didn't expect to have to make pom poms. I understand shipping, it makes sense but still. I will say this, I was amazed myself at my ability to make decent round pom poms so I guess anyone can make them. They are cute once made.

Honestly, you can get away with it a lot cheaper if you go to the dollar tree and buy supplies to make your own. All you get are some flimsy lanterns that break easily and pompoms don't. It doesn't even come together, which I can understand, but no matter how you try to put it together, it doesn't come out right. Just save your bucks and buy something to make them a lot cheaper and you can probably get more of the product by buying it from the store.

I decided to use some clear string and nails to hang it from the ceiling. You could go to the Dollar Tree and get the same look/pom poms, but for me it was the convenience of getting the flowers I wanted and having them delivered right to my door. I would suggest buying them a few days before your event as they will take some time to assemble and if you don't know how to assemble lanterns/pom poms try googling - there are helpful videos on the internet. !
