This is not what I wanted. Probably because I didn't understand how to do it properly. I have two speakers, both stereo, and I wanted to split the stereo signal left and right from the back of the monitor to split the audio between the speakers accordingly. nope I had to go with another solution. luck next time. Luckily it wasn't very expensive.

Sorry but the reviews about poor contact on sockets are correct. The left channel - the white jack - did not make constant contact with my mic plug, but was sporadic at best. I even tried taping it to keep it in a "good place" but it made no contact. I wasted sending it to a wedding the next day and it was a waste of time and money. So you might risk getting a good one, but I tried 2 different plugs and neither of them had a solid connection to the white plug. I wish someone had made a decent…
