This is a good size for a 13-inch laptop with narrow bezels. It fits my Samsung Notebook 9 measuring 8.1 x 12.1. Lots of extras. Well made zippers of good quality. But faux leather is more like cheap vinyl. And the shoulder strap is sewn in, not on a rotating clip. Mine is twisted and I don't see a way to fix it, so I'll probably cut it off and keep it in a better place. There is also a padded shoulder strap. Very strange design choices.

I would rather appraise a laptop bag before buying it. Unfortunately, quality cases for full-size 17-inch laptops are no longer available in mainstream stores. After reading the reviews I decided on this one. What's good: I have an 8lb 17" MSI Dominator. It fits in a bag very easily, so if you have a 17" gaming rig it should fit as well. This case is big enough for the new 18.4 inch Samsung Galaxy View tablet. It fits snugly but isn't too cumbersome to add/remove from the case. Laptop bag for a 17 inch laptop. Perfect for my Dell XPS 13 9370 with mCover hard case. It's also padded and glides on easily. The main compartment offers plenty of space for your charger, mouse and other external peripherals. It looks thin, durable and sewn very well. It looks like it will last a long time. Perfect travel companion when you are traveling with a small laptop, tablet and the like. The shoulder pad is stitched which is just great, doesn't have to fiddle around every time I take it. Great work on that!
