Sturdy, solidly built.

I use a couple of these to hang my camera for my ecommerce photo booth. I use it all day, every day and it hasn't let me down yet. It's probably being pushed and pulled 500 times a day.

Pros
  • Drop Protection
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Lock not working spoils the impression

The locking mechanism does not work. It features a raised symbol to indicate that the lock slides to hold the wire in place but does not move. I think I can use it without stalling, but as an engineer testing systems on the mobile launch vehicle for NASA at Kennedy Space Center, I want to make sure my gear is working before working on the rocket.

Pros
  • Security
Cons
  • Only available in black

He has one weakness and one flaw.

When I received this it worked great for the first 3 months then the lock stopped working. I thought it's ok, I don't need it. I only used it to attach my GERBER belt knife to my belt loop. It has never seen serious loading, and certainly not beyond its rated working capacity. However, after about 6 months of use, the point where the cable connects to the key ring came loose when I pulled the cutter out to use. The cable has returned to reality and is now unusable.

Pros
  • Lanyards and straps
Cons
  • Can't remember
