This is perfect for what I need it for. One of the letter keys is completely broken off, there is nothing to fix. Replacing the keyboard on this old MacBook isn't worth the price so I needed a quick fix until I decided to buy a new one. This case works perfectly. The free button is fixed by the cover and re-typing is easy. All the letters are visible, the cover doesn't slip, and dust and dirt also seem to protect. The keyboard case is great and does exactly what it's supposed to! It fits snugly on the keyboard and doesn't move. It has a nice matte finish that is very nice. :) Letters on the cover aren't printed - it's transparent and opaque, which is perfect. I specifically looked for something like this because I saw the paint rub off on this type of cover. A cleaning cloth is included in the scope of delivery, with which you can pre-clean the keyboard. My old keyboard case was made out of what appeared to be plasticine because it was all stretched and bubbling over the keys like hot mess. This keyboard case is light years better. Not only can I see all the letters clearly, I don't notice much of a difference when typing (probably because I'm a little more sluggish on the keys than others). Once I put this cover on it was completely in place. "If he sits, he stays." + no complaints! (They even add a keyboard cleaner as a nice touch).

Unfortunately does not fit. It's too superficial. The size on the left is even worse than the size on the right. The only positive thing is that it is enough not to slip. But because it's so flat, it leaves all the keys open enough to let in crumbs and the like. I was looking for a keyboard case made of a different material and more durable but they all seem to be made of the same material. When I found this one I was drawn to it due to the price and the fact that it was translucent/clear. My last cover was black with white writing. I couldn't see much light through, but with this transparent one I can see the letters clearly even when I'm in a dark room. The first impression is great! That's more than I expected. So far so good for the keyboard skin. Fits well! Keep in mind that some of the cooling on these laptops comes from the ventilation between the keys. Therefore, if your computer gets very hot, remove the skin for a while. This does not apply to this keyboard skin, it applies to all keyboard skins on newer Mac laptops.
