Bought this item and took it to my car dealer who fitted it to my car. Works perfectly. Be very careful who you buy these keys from. Many of them will not work.

The part that attaches the key fob to your key ring is cheap and falls out of the box. I can't attach the key fob to my key set if it comes off and I lose it. The rest of the keychain works great.

Works well. It was easy to program for my 2008 Jaguar X-Type and after 6 months it's still working. The only issue I had was that the key ring was not included. I coated it with Gorilla Glue and that's what I'm using today.

I have mixed feelings about this key and fob. I cut and programmed it from a local locksmith for $80. The plastic case started falling apart on its own when the key was cut, as others have pointed out. With that in mind, I wouldn't rely on its reliability. I only bought it with the intention of tossing it in a drawer until I sell the car or lose my master key, so it's great for my purposes. However, it is much cheaper than getting a new key from the dealer.
