Easy to install Ballast compatible

Good little ballast. Be careful as you are working with mains voltage cables. High voltages are possible when removing old ballast capacitors.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Expensive

Good product great price

Used to replace the ballast in an old advertising sign. Very nicely made, light and compact; Self-starting, no starter required. Fast shipping too.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Reliable

Great replacement ballast for T9 filament bulbs

Worked great with my T9 filament bulb which I couldn't initially figure out why it wasn't working. The lamp was good, I got power from the switches so ruled out the ballast and found it to be a better substitute.

Pros
  • Sturdy design
Cons
  • Dull packaging

Rialto makeup mirror

The ballast in my Rialto vanity mirror has burned out along with the bulb. This ballast was the same size and was reinserted into the base of the lamp. It only remains to connect all the wires (hot, zero and 4 wires to the light bulb). For $15 I got the mirror working again (a new lightbulb was bought earlier).

Pros
  • repaired Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Only available in black

Works like new and even a little bigger than it was.

I have an old Flamingo Cafe kitchen wall clock with pink lighting. The light hasn't been on for a long time. I found a Keystone KTEB-1C-1-TP-WS and used it to replace the ballast that died in my watch. Works like new and even slightly larger than what was in the watch before but still small enough to fit inside. :)

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

Keystone ballast working

The Keystone ballast was working properly when I installed it. Unfortunately the location of the screws securing the ballast to the ceiling panel was not exactly the same as the old burned block. This involved finding some washers and some longer mounting screws to hold the ballast on both ends. However, when I installed all of this, everything worked. I ordered two so I have one on hand in case one of my hallway lights burns out.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Available in white only

I have a floor lamp with a magnifying glass and Circline phosphor and the light has stopped working. I tried replacing the bulb but apparently it was in the ballast. I ended up having to screw it to the outside of the lamp and run the wires through the body, but this ballast is so light it didn't upset the balance of the lamp's scissor arm gooseneck function. I'm a big crafter so it might not be for everyone but it worked for me. If you have such a lamp and you are like me. couldn't find…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
