We brought these for a 50's party at our school for 4 and 5 year olds this time last year. We made the mistake of putting them in the dryer and they went bad. We bought two more again this year and washed and air dried them and they are absolutely beautiful and still look new.

Bought for my daughter's 10th day of school. She's 12 so we were worried about the fit. Luckily it has a nice elastic and fits perfectly. She's picky about tight things, but she liked it. It's a nice felt material that holds up well even after being rolled up in a backpack.

My 11 year old daughter is a 50's dancer and needs a poodle skirt. I was nervous that the skirt would be too long but my daughter is about 4ft tall. 5 inches so the shirt fits just below the knees. The quality of the skirt is normal (you can feel it). It looks stiff but actually moves well with spin. In addition, the poodle is much larger than it appears. I'm 5ft 4ft and that's taller than both of my arms.
