All but one of the pieces fit together easily. We had one area where the holes didn't match up at all. Used drill, quickly assembled. I love dollhouses. The style is amazing. The print is clear and very beautiful. One star deducted due to numerous potholes and minor scratches and misalignment of parts. In general we like it.

I expected more from KidKraft but was a bit disappointed. If this gift wasn't from "Santa Claus" I would return it. My daughter loved it but I didn't like that the background of the decal peeled right out of the box and a few pieces were misaligned when assembled. A few painted parts also show very noticeable color streaks. I didn't think it was worth the price.

We had a huge Kidkraft dollhouse and it was too big. The girls stopped playing with him and he just took up a lot of space. I looked everywhere for a two story Barbie house that was relatively small. There were only two options I could find (other than Mattel's plastic folding houses, which cost twice as much), so I settled on this one.
