The cutest table and chairs! However, when I say "small", it's a tad - smaller than I thought it would be, but it's perfect for my 2 year old. She can climb chairs on her own. Table and chair legs are very strong and I'm not worried about them becoming brittle and falling over (unless the kid is being intentionally rude). Very easy to assemble (took 5 minutes). Bought for my 2 year old daughter for her birthday. It seems a little smaller/shorter than other square ones I've seen in other people's houses which is great as I bought it for a 2 year old. At first I wish there wasn't a little mesh corner in the middle, but that's actually my daughter's favorite part. Tonight we opened and assembled it. It was very clearly marked and easy to assemble. The wood is smooth and feels high quality, as if it should hold up well, be it cleaning or eventual repainting. I also like that I can easily make room and clear the table if needed. Legs can be easily unscrewed. The only thing that bothered me was a small, centimeter-long tear in the thinner center part (the round compartment lid). Let me start by saying that I didn't know it was that durable. I weigh 155 pounds, I can and have sat on this set many times while practicing sign language and alphabet flashcards with my 18 month old daughter. Their legs aren't long enough to "fully" touch the floor when sitting in chairs. BUT I'm sure she'll be done with this set in about 1.5-2 years. 6 month update: We have had this table for almost 6 months and unfortunately I think we have to get rid of it :( I liked the table, its solid wood and its beauty, but 2 die Legs are cracked halfway and the table top chips and stains easily which isn't my main issue but the legs are such I have a feeling it won't last long but my daughter loves it and it's small enough to fit perfectly in their room but big enough to play on and have tea parties on I'm taking my 5 stars back and giving it only 3
