I just received this belt today and I have to say I am absolutely disappointed. First, the sizing grid is imprecise and not intended for a small 9 year old. This belt looked more like a small than an XL. There is no way to increase its length so now I have a useless belt. If I could rate without stars I would. I will no longer order from this seller.

I had a choice of this belt or a nearly identical 32" belt for $35. The only difference is that it's for kids and $35. one was in the women's section. Definitely worth saving up for and I have no complaints about this belt. Whatever others said, it was true to size. My hips are 31" and the 32" XL fits the butt hole great, with holes on the sides.

I was very happy when I received the belt because it's a really thick leather belt. Unfortunately, even though we're only trying them on, the metal parts are already falling off, and this square piece can get cut. So with my daughter (child seat belt) it is not normal. My husband had to press on each individual strap to keep it secure for her. I would return it but it's for her Halloween costume and I have plenty of time to send it back and get a new one.
