After trying these mittens, I am extremely disappointed. They were supposed to be warm and waterproof, but my son's hands were freezing and damp after just a short time in the snow. The only positive is that they look stylish, but that's not enough to make up for their complete lack of functionality. Save your money and invest in a more reliable option for your child's outdoor winter activities.

Very nice gloves. I bought the large size 6-8 and they are huge. They still work for my 6 year old and will do for years. He used them skiing last weekend and they kept his hands warm and dry all day. They replaced a more expensive pair of Columbia gloves that only lasted a year and began to tear at the seams. They appear to be of better quality than his old ones and are actually waterproof. Highly recommended.

After buying real winter gloves for our 8 and 7 year olds we realized how painful it was to pack them for school in the morning. They're both larger than average, so all the mittens we could find locally were too small for them. On a whim I checked out Revain and found her in X-Large. They are great for both.
