My preschooler used the pad for less than a school year and the stitching came undone. Waterproof surface. The padding seems good so next time we'll try the heavy duty version as it has reinforced stitching.

We bought this for nursery when my son was 18 months old now almost 4 and the teacher had to tape all sides for the heat seal mask off not least. I think 30 months is a good run but maintainers recommended the same brand but with black binding.

Gaps are huge. When pressed, it makes two inches of contact with the ground. Returning after seeing other reviews on opening the heat seal and filling distance. I ordered another rug of the same size from another company and the comparison showed that this product lost out. The winner was sewn with no heat seal, no gaps in a triple mat.

We have used these mats in my nursery for over a year. They are beautiful, thick and durable. kids love them! They are wide enough so that rolling diapers don't end up on the floor. Easy enough for kids to fold and pack by themselves. I have no tearing, fading or damage. I have just placed another order for additional rugs.

I started this on April 2nd and as of August 2nd (4 months later) this rug has not been used. I bought this for my 1 year old baby's nap time and the foam comes out everywhere. I would like to give a strong warning to anyone planning to use this mat for daily sleep that it will tear and you will lose your money. Flame retardants are poison. This mother doesn't have her. I know because the other mat I used causes headaches and nausea. I use these rugs in an unconventional way as pillows etc, but I would be even more concerned about the flame retardant properties of other rugs if I was using them for baby sleep! The carpet looks good, is easy to clean and the padding makes it more comfortable. Unfortunately it is not very durable. We bought this for our preschooler to use at school. I like that it's big and bold. I wanted the thickest pile rug I could find for my son for Mother's Day because I find the idea of sleeping on the floor rather uncomfortable. We have memory foam on his bed at home and I wanted him to be as comfortable as possible in a sleeping pad. Although the foam in this mat is thick, it has a very low density.
