I bought this kit to take my 2015 Macbook Pro apart and replace the thermal paste. The value here is amazing. Every tool I needed was there. The tools were of sufficient quality for occasional home repairs. Combining these tools with YouTube videos made the job very easy. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable set of tools to get work done on their Macbook Pro.

Great tool set. The metal tools are great, durable and knurled/textured in all the right places. The resin of the opener is well formed and not flimsy at all. The fit/palm fit is a bit cheap but does the job, the bit ends are sharp and precise though. The elastic band on the straps for wrapping the tool felt comfortable. Knowing what I know now, I would buy this tool set again

Great workmanship for the thin and tiny screws that make up many Mac's cases and keyboards. I had to use this set immediately for a long weekend renovation and was very pleased that the screwdrivers protected the screw heads and fitted perfectly as I needed for the torx, pentagon and torx screws. A set that didn't damage my components and the tool pouch was a nice bonus. Many Thanks.

These instruments were bought for my husband. He used them to replace his phone's screen. He had no problem removing the screen and replacing it with a new screen. I didn't hear any complaints or murmurs, so everything went well. I believe it took him less than half an hour to replace the screen using these tools. My husband has probably broken over 5 screens on his phones. He successfully changed two screens and the second screen change was much easier than the first.

Purchased for Macbook Pro (Start) 2015 Display Replacement (A1502) - Ideal for removing the case, cables and most internal screws. However, note that you will need a T8 screwdriver, which is not included in this set. See step 15 of the ifixit manual. I already had a T8 so that wasn't a problem. Also, this product does not advertise T8 as included, so this does not reflect on the product in any way. I just thought people who make the same substitute would like to know.

I've had this kit for a week now and have disassembled and reassembled about 10 laptops. I needed it to access a set of T5 screws and 6 sided drives. All items in the set have adequate magnetization (except for one which is too weak, but I can hold two drivers at once so it doesn't bother me). The metal is hard enough to be gripped but soft enough not to snap off thin screws. and if you REALLY removed one of the drivers, you can just buy a better replacement for it and the rest stays in place.

Seller claims it's made for a Macbook Pro. Unfortunately, the tip of the screwdriver was too narrow, didn't fit tightly into the screws and couldn't loosen them. The metal was better than the free screwdrivers that came with the replacement battery I bought, but I couldn't use the screwdriver to open the MacBook Pro. With another screwdriver I was able to open the computer. I then used the scraper from this kit to remove the tape. But $13.99 is expensive for a scraper.

For servicing my own Macbook Pro these tools were perfect - not only do they come with all the necessary drivers (except for the T8 Torx for the monitor). ), but it comes with expanders and tweezers for safely removing connectors and components. I felt that the five-petal P5 petal plate began to slip more as I used it. I'm not sure if it was due to my skill or if the edges of the petals started to fray. For that reason, and the lack of a Torx T8 screwdriver, I wouldn't recommend this tool for…

I got this to open up my iPhone after a drop or two of water got in and I couldn't get it to evaporate without removing the screen. Well, none of the prying tools are designed to remove the iPhone X screen. The metal tools are too thick to use without risk of damage, while the plastic tools are still quite thick and very fragile. I bent the tips of the two plastic tools and then went back to the narrowest metal tool. Unfortunately, the camera display broke. Now I don't blame this set of tools…
