This case is just back. The first card I put in was PNY and it fit too tight but it fit. Removing the card is a pain, you have to dig with your fingernail and actually *pry open* the card. The second card I put in was a Sandisk and the card didn't fit all the way into the slot. With minimal force on the card, the very hard rubber of the slot caused the Sandisk case to split in half along the edge seam. CLICK! A $25 card down the drain. I didn't find the problem until I noticed my SD cards were coming apart, the top left corner came loose. Some old and some new maps. Once when I tried to remove the card from the recessed slot, I saw that the top left corner lifted up, but the back of the SD card was still pressed firmly against the rubber base of the recessed slot. Product design seems good. The hard molded plastic interior holds the cards in place perfectly without being so tight that it looks like it will break or damage them. It looks good enough.
