Excellent Upgrade for My Motorcycle

As a result of using this petcock, I found that my bike runs smoother and has better fuel efficiency. Installation was a breeze and the build quality is top-notch. It's great to have a reliable automotive part that won't fail unexpectedly. The only downside was the price, but considering the long-term benefits, it was definitely worth the investment.

Pros
  • High quality, durable construction
Cons
  • May require some technical expertise to install correctly

Cheap product that works!

Fits my 2007 KLR 650 but you need a new fuel hose and carburetor vacuum cover. The nozzle angle is offset by 90 degrees, so you need more hose.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Long lead time

The outlet is NOT pointing in the direction shown.

On the KLR, the old faucet opening faces inward, not backward. I didn't pay attention to the details and only found out after installing the fuel hose. Yes! Definitely! I managed to bend the fuel hose by making a few small cuts in the plastic cap next to it. Traveled 200 miles. No issues so far, although others recommend shutting off the valve if the bike is sitting for too long (a week or more) to avoid flooding. I personally haven't had this problem, but I still do if I remember.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Minor issues
