This bag is small enough to take with you on trips, on foot, on the train and so on. The outside pockets with zips are very practical and keep the bag close to the body. 2 compartments help organize your wallet compared to other essentials. The adjustable strap is a plus. I've taken it all over Japan and it looks brand new. A little rain is no problem. It's hard to lose a handbag in such a bright color.

Kipling Alvar Crossbody is a stylish and practical holdall. Unfortunately, this particular color (Galaxy Twist) wasn't the best choice for me. It's a shimmery black that makes it an odd day bag, and its casual design prevents it from being a good evening bag. It falls between the cracks. I went ahead and ordered Dusty Gray which turned out to be exactly what I was expecting.

This is my favorite wallet and the third because I use it all the time. I like to organize things in my purse so I know exactly where to find them. With this bag you don't have to rummage around looking for things. In addition, the cross-body option allows you to free your hands. I always use it when I travel. I put my passport, money and credit cards in a zippered pocket next to my body. I feel safe wearing them like this. No one could get inside this zippered bag without my knowledge.
