It's made of standard glossy microfiber and comes in a standard size, maybe a little narrower (length: 57 inches - width: 3.3 inches). I ordered a tie for my grandson who was doing my confirmation. He should be in a red academic robe. The tie fitted perfectly. Then I realized his brother, who was his sponsor, had to have one for his blue blazer. They looked great in the photos from the event.

I really like this tie. I ordered it for a Christmas wedding and was in no way disappointed with the quality of the tie. The material is dense, which allows you to tie a knot. Well sewn, no protruding threads. I also appreciate the beautiful box it came in. The tie is a good gift for a holiday or other special occasion.
