I love this sponge. A bit big for washing dishes, but great for wiping countertops, stovetops, etc. One side is a plastic sponge and the other is a soft (microfiber?) material that absorbs liquids and wipes things down quickly. Washable in the dishwasher or washing machine, so it should never smell sour. I will buy it again but it's been a while.

I've been using this sponge model for seven years now. During this time we use the fifth sponge intensively every day. These things last LONG, are great for vacuuming up spills and cleaning up. The dishwashing pad breaks down over time, but months to months instead of weeks (or days) for disposables.
