AVOID this cleaner. This is NOT good for acne prone skin or those with Malassezia. It has a pH of 7.0 - you want a pH of 6.0 or lower. This cleanser contains lauric acid, stearic acid, olive oil and shea butter - all of which are COMEDOGEN and NOT suitable for people with Malassezia. as it may affect you. As someone with oily skin, however, one redeeming aspect is that it doesn't dry out my skin.

I bought Klair's foaming cleanser on a whim, trying to find a new cleanser that would prevent and heal acne. My skin can get very dry from other acne treatments so I thought one that would balance the skin's pH would be extremely helpful and I was pleasantly surprised. This cleanser has excellent phone without tightening. Anyone with dry skin can use this product. Dear Klairs is a great skincare line and I'm sure this cleanser works best when used in conjunction with other Klairs products. I know this cleanser contains ingredients that should help my acne which might be a bonus. For me personally, this wasn't a magic cleanser that solved all my skin problems, but it did make my skin feel and look better.

Overall I really liked this cleaner. While it's not the best cleaner I've tried, it's not the worst either. I can always turn to Klairs when my skin is struggling with acne. I have been using this cleaner for over 2 years now. I usually like to take risks and try new cleaners here and there, but I keep coming back to this one. Very good product so far. I have acne prone skin and I'm glad I finally found a cleanser that doesn't irritate or dry my skin. I have tried so many products in the past but this is my holy molly.
