Nice sounding speakers

These speakers sound fantastic. I needed two additional speakers for surround sound and these two speakers were mounted left and right on a sloping part of the ceiling, facing down towards the listening area. I'm very impressed and want my other speakers to sound just as good. Wow! Installed in the wall so they are not easy to install but that is to be expected. The template worked well, the speaker wire connections were easy to use and made a solid connection.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Bad package

Great speaker, well worth the price of a quality in-wall speaker

Clear, solid sound in an in-wall speaker with very little or no distortion in most situations. A speaker vibrates with a strong bass, but this can be due to the assembly and installation. My installer did the install with a standard (read cheaper mud ring so it might be a way to save money compared to branded klipsch rings which are basically just plastic frames of the same quality as regular mus rings) . All in all, it was the most expensive thing on the wall. A speaker I've used in three…

Great sound for ceiling and wall speakers

I've had these speakers for a year and a half now. Absolutely not happier with them. At first I was a little disappointed, but I didn't allow the necessary "break-in". After a short while they sounded amazing. The highs are crisp and clean, as Klipsch knows, but the lows are superb for a 6 1/2 inch woofer. I only use them for listening to music but I'm sure they are great for home theater. These speakers replaced the professional line of in-wall speakers that were installed when we bought our…

In-wall speakers that sound great - Klipsch sound is second to none

I've loved the Klipsch sound ever since we had a pair of Cornwall speakers in college. Something about great response throughout the audio range with crisp highs that don't get in the way. Either way, these in-wall speakers sound great thanks to the use of a frame and drywall to boost the mids. I wasn't allowed to use bookshelves or floorstanding speakers in our large room, so I figured installing it in the walls would be the best way to save the marriage. I connected them through a Denon…

Top quality music from architectural speakers

Put a pair of these in your living room, along with matching ceiling speakers in your kitchen. At first I wasn't happy, then I switched the receiver to my wife's 15 year old Yamaha 100W RX-473 and lo and behold! We included some dance/hip hop/techno melodies that give the sound a very linear response. I tried a pair of R-2650-W IIs before taking them to the media room (where they work great) and found the 5650 to be livelier and more responsive, particularly at lower volumes, which left me a…
