The best full-fledged center for your money! (No more boring soft talk.)

As an audiophile, all my money goes into my stereos with tube amps, high-current SS amps, phono stages, MC trucks, etc. home theater and don't need it the biggest and best, and since I don't care that much, I've always used very average consumer hardware - I don't need the latest and greatest - 5.1 is fine with me. My amp is just a Yamaha RX-V375 - you get the point. My center channel was a Yamaha NS-C310BL and it has always been the weakest link in my system. Even with the use of a voice…

Really good but not the upgrade I was looking for

I wanted to see if this Klipsch RP-250C would be an upgrade for my Polk Audio Signature Series S35 , but the Polk sounds a little brighter and cleaner in the voice department. The Klipsch is also huge in comparison, so I left one that I could easily mount on the wall. Other than that, it still sounded like a great center channel and I'd definitely keep it. If I didn't have a Polk to compare to because it was so much better than the old Cerwin Vega center channel I had, quite loud and projected…
