🛠️ KOHLER 1133070 Bumper Maintenance Kit Review

I am reviewing this product because most buyers do not even understand the purpose of its use. It comes with 8 rubber bumpers (2 different sets of black and white bumpers). Look at the photo so you can see where they go in the toilet.

My Kohler toilet seat is 4 years old but are these matching bumpers discontinued by the manufacturer? Crazy. Well I'm glad I found them back then, even if the 2 black bumpers aren't good. I don't think I've ever seen a black toilet seat. I glued the bumpers because they will inevitably fall out.

These things wear out. You buy a 4 pack and get 2 clear white and 2 black. Now come on, are you going to use black bumpers with a white toilet and white toilet seat? no Why can't you order all 4 in the same color? These things will take about six months or so. They prevent the toilet seat from slipping which is great but it would be nice if they lasted longer or came in larger quantities in packs. Poor performance, but what can you do. you need her

Fits perfectly but is held in place by a clip that is not very snug. The padding material is silicone-like - and it "sticks" to the surface of the toilet when the seat is down. When I raise the seat, it sometimes has to be yanked, which (after a while) pulls those little bumpers out of their sockets. I don't go to the bathroom to get them, so they're new. I'm sure these 4 packs will last me a few years. My toilet and seat are white; Too bad Kohler doesn't ship them as a single color bumper…

Ridiculous to have to replace the bumpers under a Kohler toilet seat after a year. Really Kohler? The rear bumpers are firmly attached to the seat. Why no front apron? Nothing to add to the name. If you have a Kohler toilet seat that has these bumpers attached (and they occasionally fall out and disappear without a trace), then this is your ticket. I can't understand how some people get confused about the installation other than assuming they bought the wrong item. I have (4) black and (4) white bumpers. My picture below shows what I received for the Kohler K-1133070, but the packaging has different numbers. This service kit contains: (2) White with Molded Latch (2) Without Molded Latch (2) Black with Molded Latch (2) Black without Molded Latch. It's not documented anywhere and when it comes up it's confusing unless you know you're getting two different styles and two different colors and have to decide which one to use.
