I actually bought these for my 3 year old granddaughter to play with. She doesn't use them with real makeup. It's all pretense. When they came in we were surprised how good they were. The brushes are really well built, carved and soft. The number of different brushes you get for the price couldn't be better. Not of this quality. The only problem. Some of the metal straps that attach the brush to the wooden handles have come loose slightly. I fixed it by buying a pair of pliers and crimping…

I bought these when the price dropped and was particularly looking for the smaller brushes that tend to come in the kit. They are good but the Fuller brushes are harder than I expected. This is normal for small or packaging brushes. One of the eyeliner brushes is bent and just twisted, so it's useless for that. But I'll use the rest. They're pretty good, and for $5 it's ok, but you know, if they look soft, they're not.

These brushes suck. You get what you pay for. I bought this for my niece and she is just starting makeup so I think it's ok for starters but the brush fell apart before I gave it away.

Cheap items. Looks like a toy. All of the bristles fell off after just 12 uses. I only use loose powder. I just couldn't take it. Very disappointing.

As the title says. They were really cheap - in every way. Not soft as advertised. I bought them to paint - on the recommendation of a friend. This is the first bad recommendation they have given.

I mean, let's be honest. You get what you pay for but thought the brushes would be a little softer especially the feather brush! Small, flat brushes work well for trimming and applying shadow that needs to be blended. I would recommend going to Wal-Mart or Target and buying Elf brushes if you are looking for beginner or intermediate brushes at a good price.

When I opened the package 3 brushes were broken. I had to glue them back onto the stick. And on the brush for foundation and concealer, the brussels fell out after the first application. Definitely not a good buy.

Bought as a replacement for eyeshadow applicators. I'm not sure why the brushes aren't more differentiated. When buying sets from other brands, the 3 eye products used showed clear differences. On a positive note, with the appearance of repetitive sizes, I won't be washing my brushes as often. I'll figure it out through use and possibly error. Some will definitely be included in my craft. There are never too many duplicates.

In this case you get what you pay for. I can probably use all brushes just for filling in eye shadow, applying primer and concealer. However, they are not great for blending or anything that requires a soft brush. The brushes are very hard, VERY hard and not flexible at all. But for at least $4 you can still use them, but definitely not what I expected.
