Koloa Surf Slouchy Beanie by Joe's USA - Available in 7 Vibrant Colors Review

As a seasoned climber, I was hoping for a beanie that could withstand the elements. Unfortunately, this product fell short. As my tests showed, the material is thin and not durable enough for rough outdoor use. While the charcoal color is nice, it's not enough to make up for the lack of quality.

Pretty nice hat but I expected it to be a little bowed. When first putting it on, the excess material sticks out, which I tried to avoid with regular caps (shown in the first photo). But after folding the extra bit it fits better as shown in other photos. At least with the increased width of the brim, it doesn't slide down like a regular beanie with my thick hair. Will continue to wear them but also try to find one that's a little looser in the back without having to fold them.

This hat is fantastic, I actually bought this to replace my previous Koloa hat which was lost - tried others but nothing fit this. It's very light and probably won't do much good in a cold winter like the Midwest, but in spring or fall and a mild winter like here in Nevada it's perfect! It's 100% cotton so it's very soft, the yarn doesn't wrinkle, build up static electricity or give me "hat hair" like synthetic materials.
