They replaced the Koolit brick with a good gel formula that would set into any shape you wanted, instead a lumpy mass that freezes into an awkward mass.

I like the size but another customer said the packaging broke after about 3 weeks of use. I got the larger size and it has a durable finish. I've had the big one for 3 years now.

Awesome ice packs! It's been 11 hours and they're still frozen, only slightly thawed, in my cooler. I have purchased these cold packs before and have had them for many years. They are very durable and never run out. Very easy to clean if something spills on it.

They are great and keep you cold even in the summer heat. Highly recommend for lunch or diaper bags!

I was disappointed to see what I received. This is a different version of the ice packs I ordered a few years ago. Definitely not as expected. They are significantly smaller, so more should be used where one or two older versions would suffice. They're not that fat either. I don't know anything about durability/wear and tear as I haven't had them long enough to be able to judge. Old, big, I've had enough for several years of daily use. And since I was happy with them, I finally decided to order
