Koss KPH14V Side Firing Headphone (Violet) Review

These headphones have two fatal flaws: 1) I have a medium sized head and the headphones sit just above the ear holes on the maximum setting. These headphones and the XDR-8000 seem to be the closest thing to the Sony MDR-W08 headphones that I liked. Bandages break after a while. They broke on all 5 sets I bought and I don't have a big head.

I read the reviews on these headphones before purchasing and was appalled by the 'tight fit' description so often read. When I think of a tight fit, I think painful, which isn't painful. They are meant to be snuggly, especially if you wear them while doing something active (walking, cleaning the house, etc.). I run in them three times a week and they stay in my ears and on my head. I can't use headphones so this is a great cheap alternative as Sony stopped making my favorite headphones! I will…
