Craig got it right in Hand Tools

I ordered 2 of these vises instead of a Moxon vise or a regular vise because they would all interfere with my torsion box build table and I put it on I didn't want to face it. They have a low profile, excellent clamping pressure and are very easy to install.

Excellent special clamp, particularly suitable for short boards, drawer fronts and small panels.

These Kreg Vises have their place when I need to secure the medium sized items I am working with. (Grinding, painting, other finishing work.) You almost got it right.

This is a very interesting tool but I wish they had done a few things differently. I find that it squeezes very thin objects with more force and very thick objects with less force. Or at least that's what it looks like when you squeeze the handles. In both cases, the clamping force can be adjusted in a flash by running your thumb over the adjustment screw.
