This case is perfect for anyone who wants to keep their iPod safe from scratches and dings. The hard shell provides excellent protection without adding too much bulk to the device. The sleek black design is also a plus, making it easy to carry around. The only downside is that it can be a bit difficult to remove the iPod from the case at times. Overall, a great addition to any electronics collection.

I bought this case last year - very satisfied - offers minimal protection if iPod is dropped; Hard plastic matches the iTouch's slim profile. The volume control is easily accessible; There is no need to remove the case when connecting to the iPod charger/speaker system. Unlike the previous reviewer, I went with the black (no color issues). In terms of sound quality - I only use external speakers or headphones - Apple's internal speakers leave a lot to be desired.

If you are buying this case because you like this brand and are more interested in black than blue then please go ahead, don't be stopped. However, if like me you're interested in the (apparently) electric blue case, don't waste your time or money. The picture is completely misleading in terms of the blue tone, it's actually more of a dark blue, maybe a little lighter than midnight blue. However, the case fits well and seems to protect well.
