Great for my purpose. I use it to store dirty dishes in the sink so they don't fall through the sink shelf. Works perfectly!

Installed with screws in my sailboat's galley and it works very well for this application. The holes allow air to circulate which is great for a boat! Looks great and fits all my dishes.

I bought this because I need something that will drip easily when drying my cutlery. Despite the large openings, water tends to pool at the bottom edges. I usually turn it upside down every morning after emptying. Slight discoloration after a month of use. The good thing is that unlike the old plastic, it can be washed in the dishwasher.

My husband and I live frugally so space is very important as we only have three drawers in the kitchen. More than half a dozen kitchen utensils (for cooking) can be placed in this canister. We use this as a handy place to store dirty cutlery before doing the dishes. Keeps the kitchen sink and counters less cluttered. And the stainless steel basket itself is very easy to clean. The large size is just what you need. but I will buy a few more of these to fit larger tools like spatulas and the like.
