Not much meat for a pen

The locking knob works great, but there isn't much material to hold it in place. They are approximately 1.5 turns from the handle exit when the screw is far enough away for the receiver to be placed on a stand or other device.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Cheap and affordable mount

I lost the mount to the Chauvet light a few months ago. The yoke was still in great shape so I was looking for a cheap solution to mount it on an AC stand. I stumbled across this at Coupo and have bought several since my first order. They are well built and will get the job done.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Some defects

Amazing lighting and studio adapters

They are great, the quality is consistent and the reassurance I get when my camera is recording from above is worth the price. I used to only use the recording head. with spigots as they slide straight onto the 40" C-pillar and then bolt straight onto the ball head makes everything more secure.

Pros
  • regular price
Cons
  • too dumb

Great gripping device.

This is a great all round tool. I bought this to make a small portable laptop stand to tie my laptop to when I was out and then realized it was the same thread as my tripod and monopod heads. This allows me to set up hanging rigs for product photography or mount an extra camera when shooting landscapes without having to invest in another tripod.

  • Stable test results

Great adapter for using tripod and camera on C-Pillar or Baby Pin

This Kupo 5/8" receiver with 3/8" threaded stud is just what you need to Mount your tripod head (and camera) on a 5/8" C-post extension or baby pin. It accepts a standard 3/8" threaded tripod head without a 1/4"-3/8" -Thread adapter, making it stronger and more secure. The receiver is very well made. I would use a safety line every time you mount or hang the camera to prevent it from accidentally falling and getting damaged.

Pros
  • Looking forward
Cons
  • Protective Bracket

Well Made But Limited Strength

If you are just installing a lightweight part, this could be perfect for you. I installed a gimbal, camera, monitor, focus unit and batteries that were too heavy for a 1/4-20 tripod. The post bent and then broke when I tried to bend it in place. I don't blame this adapter. My setup was too heavy for that. And I had to screw 1/4-20 washers to the post to secure it top to bottom. The processing of this adapter is excellent. That's easy. I like the spring on the turning knob - although I lost it…

Pros
  • Beautiful Appearance
Cons
  • Compatibility

I bought my daughter an expensive music stand to take home for her high school horn lessons. I dreamed of raising a musical prodigy probably lol. Anyway, she's done her freshman year and the tripod hadn't been used in probably 3 years so I took the music stand back to convert it into a photo stand for my studio flashes. I removed the music tray and stayed with the center stand. I saw that the description listed it as a 5/8" receiver so I ordered it hoping for the best. I received it today and…
