This along with the 8 " LRS Recurve helped.

This along with the 8" LRS Recurve helped me a lot with the bumps on my 14 SG. We'll probably add wings to the disguise here in the near future.

This article is terribly average.

So-so when it comes to efficiency. It seems to work. Definitely not a standalone solution, but certainly part of a comprehensive approach to wind vibration reduction. I think I would buy it again? I'm not impressed, but I don't hate it either. This is the most average item I've ever bought. At such a low price, it's not bad. Just buy it.

Works great when you add the bottom pads

Remove the 2 top hex bolts on the rear size of the fork clamps, put this thing on and say goodbye to polishing. But I have a road slide, I put the lower fairings on and rode, and then I bought this deflector and noticed a huge difference, so between my windshield on display and the Klock Werks lower fairings, this deflector and the Batwing deflectors I don't polish 120 miles in an hour. And at 70 you feel like you're in a convertible.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Expensive

No change in airflow

I was hoping this little guy would blow the air blowing out my beard into my eyes. But unfortunately it doesn't do much, it's just another shiny thing on my '06 Road Glide. I gave 4 stars because it's not cheap and looks good. It was easy to install and it only took me a few minutes to drive two screws in and I was up and running. Missing one star only because I didn't care for the bike's airflow, and that's what I ended up buying it for.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Easy maintainability

Kuyakin Part #1804: Perfect for my 2018 Ultra Limited

Kuyakin Part #1804: Perfect for my 2018 Ultra Limited. Easy installation, less than 10 minutes. Remove two screws and install the deflector and replace the screws. EASY! Made of metal and chrome. Works exceptionally well. I had one on my 04 Electra Glide and 16 Road Glide. I forgot about that when I bought the 2018 Ultra. I wear a half helmet and it kept bouncing in the air. The windshield Kuryakyn 1804 made a huge impression and was definitely worth it.

Really important!

I just installed this on my 2017 Road Glide Ultra. Drove for an hour with the fairing vents closed and noticed very little turbulence going through the fork tunnel in the fairing. In general, opening the vents will help equalize the air pressure behind the fairing, reducing the amount of air passing through the fork tunnel. Closing the vents increased the airflow going through the tunnel, pushing a lot of air into my face and under the visor of my short helmet, causing a lot of turbulence. With

Maybe it works, maybe not.

I'm giving this three stars because I'm not entirely sure if it helped my '17 FLHX in any way. I successively installed different deflectors on my bike: first this deflector, then the fairing deflectors, then the fork deflectors. I didn't notice any difference at all with just that lower triple deflector installed. In combination with other deflectors, wind vibrations are significantly reduced. I don't feel any wind coming from the front of the tank, but I don't think there was much of it…

years for my Harleys so that should say something about how I think it works. It really deflects the wind blowing up through the forks and over the tank, especially nice when the temperature drops a lot. Harley put them on their touring bikes a few years ago but then stopped. I was told at a dealership that Harley stopped wearing them because they "could lift the front of the bike off the ground". For real?! I've had 90+ mph bikes with this deflector and not once did the front end feel light or

Installation requires some finesse, but this accessory is worth the money.

This item was dispatched and delivered as promised. The wind deflector feature is a little less noticeable than the fairing deflectors I previously installed, but provides additional protection from the updraft associated with the Electra Glide. .Note. If your bike has never had a lower triple clamp wind deflector and you are fitting one for the first time, you will need some extra elbow grease! When tightening the screws for the first time, you need to tighten them as much as possible (the…
