I bought two of these lovely scarves as Christmas gifts. They're warm, well-made, and gorgeous. I've been to Scotland and this is the real deal (just like you would buy in Scotland).

Husband loves his scarf! It is not heavy on the neck and is very soft. He's actually wearing it with his Wrangler jean jacket and he looks amazing!
