Disappointing quality of Antique Socket

According to my experience, this lamp socket has a poor antique finish and feels cheaply made. It doesn't fit well with my other industrial and scientific lighting components and fails to add any aesthetic value to my lighting setup. While the price is reasonable, the quality leaves much to be desired..

Pros
  • Price is reasonable.
Cons
  • Poor antique finish, low quality.

Solved: Electrical

Looks good and feels sturdier than the units I see in big stores saw place. The fit of the bottom and top is just as good as the one I bought as a spare (which means it also came loose after I put the chain on). screw. The original cartridge for this antique lamp lasted about 50 years. First change at 5 so I'm hoping it gives me more than a few years.

Pros
  • Solid brass, antique finish, on/off function, pull chain lamp base, rated 250W-250V
Cons
  • Slightly torn
