Lancome Eau de Parfum Tubereuses Castane Review

Tubereuses Castane is an original, elegant-sounding floral-gourmand unisex perfume, released in 2016 by the popular French perfume and cosmetics brand Lancome as part of the new Grand Cru Fragrances fragrance collection. Like all perfumes in the collection, the fragrance is hidden in an original designer bottle with a relief floral ornament. The author of the aromatic composition was the perfumer Shyamala Maisondieu, who, with her creation, sought to convey the beauty of the sound of the tuberose aroma. In order to achieve perfection in demonstrating the aroma of this amazing flower, she used the scents of flowers collected at different times of the day in her perfume. Tuberose flowers picked in the evening twilight gave a rich and strong aroma, while fragrant flowers picked at dawn gave the perfume a delicate, touching smell, like a fleeting breath of the morning breeze. The luxurious floral aroma of tuberose in the perfume is highlighted and complemented by spicy-woody, with light gourmand hints of roasted chestnuts and sweetish-smoky notes of Venezuelan tonka bean, which gave the perfume soft, delicate accents of sweetness.
