🍷 Monopoly Board Game for Wine Lovers: Wine-Opoly Review

The best thing about Wine-Opoly is that it's not a wine knowledge test, so anyone can play. The perfect gift for wine lovers. The game is similar to the original Monopoly in many ways, so players don't have to learn a whole new game.

My game pieces were not the same as in the picture. In the picture it looks like bottle shaped pieces but mine were just rectangular. But I bought it for an avid wine lover and she really enjoyed the game! The board and cards are good.

We used it 2 times and it was quite easy to switch from the original Monopoly game to this one (roads and locations are different, like random etc. cards) . In winter we spent 2 evenings with him. It will be on sale again this winter.

I love this game. Nice twist on the traditional monopoly and lots of fun. Especially for a girls night out. The game itself is not a drinking game and there are no "drink if or when" elements, but you can make your own, which my friends and I did. Some maps tell you about wine. I wish there were more wine brands, there are only 6 so only 6 people can pay unless you add more brands for extra players.

Pros: It's a fun twist and a joy to discover wine-themed content. For example, instead of going through GO and getting $200, go through CHEERS, which gives you ample opportunities to toast and drink. Prison is a wine cellar, and instead of "just going in" as a spectator, she's "older." Disadvantages: The scoreboard is visually too crowded.
