I used this bracket to mount an old 6x8 license plate. I knew I had to change it to make it work for my application. This is exactly what I need for the upcoming project. If you have a regular 4x7 slab, it leaves the slightest margin around it. I think it looks nice, a little chrome accent.

Used on my 2007 Road King when I added the Tour Pak. The fit is perfect, the piece is very solid, the chrome seems to be of good quality (time will tell). Bolts and nuts are cheap, so don't overtighten. I reused the stock mounts with reflectors and wing nuts. Very easy installation. I would buy again. Good item for a good price.

Hello. I wanted to point out that I added this plate mount to my 1997 FLHTCUI and it only fits pre 1999 models. Product delivery was very quick, installation was easy and it did exactly what I wanted it to do. I recently removed a touring pack from my bike and needed to find something to get rid of the nasty factory mount. Definitely a great product and suitable for different years.

I use this on my 03 Ultra. I removed the travel pack and the original license plate bracket looked out of place. Upon investigation this turned out to be a good price and a perfect fit. I used the original screws to attach the bracket to the bike. The package includes good quality chrome screws with locknuts for attaching the license plate to the bracket. This gives a good styling profile without having to make any major modifications to the bike and the number plate stays above the tail light…
