Do not shower with it. I bought this because I wear 2 gold chains and they always get tangled but it didn't work and it also changed color and smell within a week so I'm already throwing it out. But wearing it with other fake jewelry will likely work. But not for everyday use

They are huge. You've worn 2 thin necklaces at the same time without getting tangled. But they were so big and heavy that they kept going. I ended up using 3 holes and used the middle hole to pin it to the back of my shirt. Disappointed because I thought this was the answer to my obfuscation problem.

Worked very well the first 10 times I've used it for layering necklaces. I've always had a problem with tangled necklaces and this stopped it for a while. Then one of them broke off one of the staples. And now, with others, my necklaces are still intertwined. Some of my necklaces didn't work with them because my necklace clasps were too thick for loops. All in all you get what you pay for. It worked for a while and then stopped.

The rod itself slides together The rod itself is only 1/4 inch long which isn't too bulky or very noticeable on the neck. Although the opening closures are much smaller. Trying to pull the clasp backwards is impossible, if you can imagine holding the bar with two fingers and trying to squeeze the much smaller clasps with the thumb of the other hand, it's utterly impossible.
