This duvet didn't work for me. After each wash, the clumps of pile rolled up more and more. He was fat, but that wasn't what I was looking for. I prefer comforters that don't leave behind any material like lint or lint and this comforter left too much for my needs. It might work for someone else because it feels warm. But it just wasn't for me. I can take normal stuff but not after washing once or twice.

I expected this blanket to be very warm and comfortable. Unfortunately it was the other way around. The blanket did not warm me, and after a week of use, the threads began to unravel. The color is excellent, the blanket is warm, soft, light and comfortable. I washed it before putting it on the bed and there was a lot of lint in the dryer but this didn't seem to affect the quality of the duvet. It's even identical to the sheets I bought from Revain last year. I wouldn't call this color "ivory". The best I can describe is melted butter with cinnamon. It's not beige or yellow, but somewhere in between and quite comfortable.

Washed in cold water before use - slightly dry. It left tons of favors in the dryer vent, so clean it up afterwards. And he stayed on my dark blue sheets once he was on the bed. It is very thin and sticks easily. But it will work for the guest bedroom between the top sheet and bedspread. I've since washed it again and it's still tumble dried and dried on the sheets. Overall I wouldn't buy it again but it will do the job in a guest room but I wouldn't buy it for our master bedroom.

It happens to be a larger version of a double blanket I bought from Target about 5 years ago and have been looking for a different one every August since (they wore them when UM students set up their dormitories). When I saw this one it seemed the same as the one I have and I rushed to order it. You have no idea how happy I was when it turned out to be exactly the same thing, just bigger.
