Bought for a wedding. They worked great. Doesn't flow, doesn't drip, doesn't get wet. You look beautiful and we have received so many compliments. It was very important to us that we use environmentally friendly materials. We had never heard of fallen palm leaves being used as a material and we just thought it was the greatest.

These are a fairly expensive alternative to paper plates, but are perfect for creating understated elegance. We used them for an outdoor wedding and received many compliments from guests. I don't think they are necessarily any more sustainable than some of the other high end biodegradable plates like Chinet, if you like the aesthetics nothing else will do.
