Efficient and Versatile Leather Automatic Ratchet: Functionality at Its Best Review

I've always loved the concept of these ratchet belts. No holes, no need to pull back the strap to reach the correct hole and scratch the finished side of the strap. The only problem was that they were very difficult to unlock (unlock the ratchet and loosen the strap). This solves the problem. Very easy to do. My only complaint is that they don't offer more casual straps for Levis etc. Maybe in the future?

Great belt but not for long. This is my second purchase thinking maybe I got a bad one before. Lasted almost 2 years and broke. Take this into account when purchasing. I have always been able to use straps for much longer. Lasts about 2 years with normal use.

I've been using this belt as a daily belt for a year and a half now so I feel I can give a solid review. The leather on this belt has held up well and looks just as good as the day I received the belt. However, this belt has a significant design flaw. The junction between skin and buckle is unstable. Bought this belt about 4 months ago. It's not my first ratchet belt but the first one I like the style and hardware and 'leather' (not sure if it's real leather) is nice enough but lately the strap has been slipping out of the buckle at the cut end (the ratchet holds up well) had to trim it once, because the teeth in the buckle have chewed through the belt, but still doesn't hold up well, bite tighter that helps some, but still comes out at the wrong time 3 times more expensive.

Not happy with how the ratchet works on the black strap. There is no button to fold or clip to pull, it needs to be folded like a knife. .My other 2 belts are fine, 1 white and 1 brown, I was surprised that they all function (work) differently.

There are two problems with this belt. Problem 1: The belt is not as wide as expected. This is a thin belt. Problem 2: This one is a bit more problematic. The distance from the end of the ratchet to the tip is longer than it should be. If sized correctly, too many inches of the tip of the strap will be dangling behind the strap loop. And the tip bends because of it.

I wore it every few days for 3 months, today it broke. I don't think there's too much to expect from anything :( I don't see a way to contact me and ask for a guarantee as my return period has expired. I don't need a belt, just another white buckle!
