Rechargeable is a plus. It's bigger than it looks in the picture. Three levels of brightness. Should work well for mounting on a hard backing (don't know if it's too big for paperbacks, a slight bit could rotate to the home position and would be great for covering wider areas).

I've looked at many different book lights and have a few others, but this one caught my eye for a number of reasons: 1) it's rechargeable 2) it's dimmable I was most excited after purchasing it impressed with those two features, especially touch on/brightness. This flashlight is excellent value for money and I was impressed with its overall build and thick, solid construction.

We bought this for my son who is on the top bunk in his room he shares with his little brother. The 3 light brightness options are great. He can read in bed without waking up his brother and with the lower brightness, it's not too bright for his eyes. Happy with the purchase. I love that you can either fix it to the bed or book it or sit it upright. So far there have been no problems with the battery.

When I received the light yesterday, I noticed that the touchpad doesn't always respond. Today, after charging, the touchpad becomes unresponsive and the light goes back to "high" because it won't turn off. Actually I wanted the lamp, which is about half of the reviews. double LED. Why were there reviews of other light sources on this site? I still found the light to be too bright so I don't regret returning it.

I have both white with 14 led bulbs and black with 15. White: great little light. Got it for the table under the fold down bed and it's very bright on the maximum setting. There is enough light for the area just outside the bedroom. Looking forward to testing how long it lasts on a single charge. Black: I like different shades of light. The dimming function is also very good. The brightest setting is very bright. I'm curious how long this lasts.

I love this lamp, it's so versatile and comfortable. The clip is wide enough for most tables, but sits well on its own due to the rubberized underside. There are 3 levels of brightness; the lowest one is pretty bright, the highest one is really bright! The neck is very flexible but appears to be very strong and able to withstand large bends. Excellent quality product! Bought 2 for my kids ages 6 and 7 to read in bed. They like owning the time. It has 3 settings, all of which shine bright enough; only about preference.
