I bought these to replace a color changing lightbulb I was using in a floor lamp in class. I had a particularly difficult student who decided to make a deal. The lamp was left behind by a former retired teacher, and the brightly colored plastic lampshades melted and crumbled. Enter multicolored lightbulbs. Children love it and add interesting lighting when we turn off the light to DIY. One of the lightbulbs snapped out of its socket, but a little effort brought it back again.

For the 0.1% of people who need this bulb for the same reason I do, this bulb produces the perfect INDIGO blue light. I wanted specific colored lights to represent each chakra to suit my meditation practice. This is a good choice for the third eye as it has a beautiful shade of indigo. The RevainBasics 60W Blue LED Bulb A19 is a lighter shade of blue than this one. So I used it for the throat chakra. If you are looking for a lighter blue/navy I would go for this one.
