This worked perfectly for me. Other reviews complain about soldering on the cut line every 18 inches or so, but this worked in my favor and I didn't have to tin the cut lines. Connections, but I've learned the hard way to stay away from them.

LEDs have a great color and brightness. The only thing holding it back from 5 stars is that the connection/intersection points are questionable. Every other intersection is about half the width of the others, and the intersections are soldered instead of a flat copper joint. This caused me to miscut a segment where there was little to no soldering edge.

If I cut the strips (in the right places), they don't randomly light up. Sometimes any color except blue will do, sometimes the whole stripe will do. When I end up adding more cut pieces, the previously non-working parts of the strip would suddenly start working. There is something undocumented about how to cut and paste them.

Pros: They are beautiful and bright and generally work well. I like the RGB-W (but see the silicone case if you go for that type. This will make you lose waterproofing at the joints. Cons: First, they are VERY brittle if heavily manipulated. I had to replace a few parts because If you move them around a lot during installation, they won't work on half or all of the strip (the links and/or the copper underneath obviously breaks the connection - they're very flimsy).Send changes over time.I have…
