📷 3 Legged Thing Ellie PD Universal L-Bracket for Peak Design Capture (Copper, Short) Review

Short bracket perfect for Sony A7RIV. With a bracket, it fits perfectly on the Peak Design Capture Clip and the Peak Design tripod. I just got it so it's not a long term rating but I've used tripod gear before and I suspect it will be blast proof.

I like this record. I've been looking for a good seal for a long time and came across this one. It has a Peak Design grip plate at the bottom and a standard rail on the side. Adjustment screws hold tight and secure. Fits flush with the side panel and minimizes wasted space in the bag. Attaches securely to the new PD tripod in either orientation when the stands are removed from the tripod. It's worth the money and even fits on the lens mount ring. The only downside is that side ports get blocked

Exactly what I need for my Fuji camera. I always hated taking the Peak design grip plate off when I needed to mount it on a tripod as I had a non Arca type Manfrotto head. But when I saw this L bracket with PD plate built in, I decided not only to take this bracket but also to upgrade my tripod to a 3-leg tripod. Now that I have this mount and a new tripod, I no longer have to remove the PD plate to mount it on a tripod or reattach it when I want to save it for a grip clip. +1: I'm glad I found

I have never used tripods. I had developed an L-mount for my Panasonic DMC G-9 that worked really well, but I could no longer use my capture plate or clip on my backpack, which was a PITA. I ordered the Ellie PD Short Universal L Mount because I thought my camera was too small to use the regular Ellie PD Universal L Mount. It absolutely fits, but I think I could order a regular PD-L bracket and it would fit perfectly. Unfortunately I haven't seen a page on 3-legged things' website that guides…
