I bought this socket because I was looking for one that was specifically designed for aluminum wire. The August 10, 2018 description above states that this applies to copper or aluminum. However, upon receipt it is clear that a decent product will say on the back that it is for copper only. i have to return it

I gave one star to draw attention to the fact that the description is wrong on this important point. If the description is corrected I will change my rating to five stars as this is a great outlet for wet places when installed correctly. Until then, aluminum wire buyers should be aware of this limitation. The "Copper or Aluminum" listing needs to be changed (I sent this request to Revain).
