I usually have no problems with this product. This time I used all 3 cartridges and printed a 450 page (single page) manuscript. Maybe it was just defective cartridges. I do not know. But I'm not happy. I bought this kit to get the job done quickly without having to wait for new ink. I still have to wait. Disappointing.

After I connected the 2nd cartridge, I could not print anything. Of course, the first thing I did was verify that the correct strip was removed and then reinstalled correctly. Nothing yet.! I thought I'd try a "regular" ink cartridge, but I think I'll just stick with the manufacturer's brand.!

I was using my printer and was wondering why the black ink wasn't working until I took the cartridge out and there was a problem, I forgot to remove the security tape lol. Once I did that I created a test site and it worked lol. My evil human error. Will buy again, great price compared to Walmart.

It's not that it doesn't work, but it WORKS. The problem is that HP has software that doesn't allow anything other than genuine HP inks. If you are computer savvy you might be able to work around this. I'm a bit of a techie but couldn't solve the problem. He started to print, and then the printer stopped him in the middle of the page. We decided to try this ink and hoped for the best and we got a great product. We received four items in total. A refillable black ink cartridge and three smaller cartridges. This way we can keep our ink fresh and only open it when absolutely necessary. Highly recommended.
