The numeric keypad is a plus of this Chromebook

The numeric keypad and the presence of the "Delete" key are pluses of this Chromebook. Many Chromebook keyboards have done away with this keyboard to make the keyboard smaller. I also appreciate the durability of the keyboard platform that rests my wrist.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Communication with the seller

weak screen and incorrect product information

The model I received didn't have a keyboard backlight. The touchscreen shook when I used it - very annoying at first. He comes again. The triple 15-inch Chrome OS and backlit touchscreen keyboard don't seem to exist. I reluctantly return to Windows.

Pros
  • I like everything so far
Cons
  • Mystery

Update not working on my Chromebook

I like my Chromebook especially when the camera works. I found Lenovo support online and made an appointment for them to call me. They called exactly at the agreed time. The technician was competent and professional. I noticed that there is a small switch at the top of the screen that closes the camera. I highly recommend the Lenovo Chromebook. I've had my week and will add more info if there are any issues.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Not the best

Incredibly poor customer service

Top taskbar touchscreen not responding; responds well to the keyboard, but not to the touch. Got a new car today. I saw a review of a great Lenovo CS but I was on the phone for 35 minutes and the rep just got back after 25 questions and said I went to the wrong department and the right department was closed. Call again in the morning.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Excellent Computers and Tablets

replaced a Chromebook that had exhausted itself with updates. This one is really good except for the speakers. But of course no problem, just add a good Bluetooth speaker. Overall a great Chromebook and I would definitely recommend it. I love Chromebooks - like a retiree not connected to the network through Microsoft - Chromebooks are the best

Not as advertised in Computers & Tablets

The seller sent a different model/version. There was NO keyboard backlight. I bought one of these last year and it had a backlight. I liked it very much! I bought another one about a month ago and it didn't have a backlight. It sucks when you're in the dark and need to type something and the keys aren't visible. Sent back assuming it was defective as the backlit keyboard is listed (5th point). Ordered a replacement and same problem. It turns out if you check the full model number the last 3…

  • Don't waste too much time

Ideal for learning on the go

The child uses it for digital learning. Works perfectly. Battery life isn't its strong suit, we'll have to plug it in, it won't last a full school day, but probably nothing at this screen size, certainly not at this size and price point. The Google/Chrome family built-in controls are great too

Pros
  • Trial year
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Don't buy a Chromebook if you use Zoom

The first computer I ever bought for myself and it was a big mistake. You can't change the background on Zoom calls, which is a major downside. I can't print to my Canon printer from a Chromebook. Basically, it's only good for watching videos (with external speakers) and reading emails. It also intermittently drops the WiFi connection, which is not the case with my other devices. I don't recommend a Chromebook to anyone.

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Hard to say

Broke after 2 days

After 2 good days I can hardly write this review it sucks so much. The baklit keyboard was a COMPLETELY FALSE ADVERTISEMENT! Can't get the touchscreen to work. From time to time the screen goes crazy and decides to switch to the computer. Worst product on the market, my last ACER Chromebook was 5 years old without a single fault. That sucks as it was a computer purchase for my birthday.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Bad set
